Softball Hosts Alumni Game, Announces Fall Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - UAB will host its Alumni Softball Game Saturday at 1 p.m. at George Ward Park Field No. 6. The matchup pits the UAB softball team against the Alumni softball team, which is made up of UAB softball alums and others.
The UAB softball team's fall schedule kicks off Oct. 13 with the Fall Tournament at George Ward Park Field No. 6. UAB will face Samford at 11 a.m., Okaloosa-Walton at 1 p.m. and Birmingham Southern at 7 p.m. Additional games include Birmingham Southern vs. Samford at 9 a.m., Okaloosa-Walton vs. Birmingham Southern at 3 p.m. and Samford vs. Oklahoosa-Walton at 5 p.m.
The Blazers' fall season concludes with a doubleheader against Martin Methodist Oct. 16 at 5 p.m. at George Ward Park Field No. 6.
