UAB's Elizabeth Ambrus Featured On Trackshark.com

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- UAB distance runner Elizabeth Ambrus continues to gain more and more national attention.
The senior from Arlington Heights, Ill. and the reigning Conference USA cross country individual champion is the subject of an interview that is currently posted on the track and field website, www.trackshark.com.
Ambrus is off to another outstanding start in cross country this fall as she has an individual title and a runner-up finish in the two meets she has competed thus far. Last Saturday in nearby Hoover, Ala., she captured first place in the Great American Cross Country Festival and helped lead the Blazers to a team championship and a victory over second-place Brigham Young, the nation's No. 5-ranked team.
Ambrus and her teammates will continue their fall competition this weekend when they participate in the Notre Dame Invitational at South Bend, Ind.
