BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB men's tennis team, which hasn't played a dual match since defeating Memphis on March 21, will be back in action Wednesday when the Blazers face the 22nd-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide.
The match is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m. and will be played at Samford University's courts. Alabama will play against Samford later in the day.
UAB will enter the match with a national ranking of its own (No. 67) and with a 9-1 record. The Blazers have won eight in a row, their only loss of the season recorded at No. 55 Mississippi State, 4-1, back on Feb. 3.
Alabama comes into Wednesday's match with a 16-8 record. The Tide defeated No. 8-ranked Florida, 5-2, in its last action on Monday.
