UAB Tennis Team Wraps Up Play At Seminole Invitational

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. ----- The UAB men's team wrapped up a successful weekend of play here Sunday at the Seminole Invitational to finish with wins in 20-of-29 matches.
The Blazers had one player -- Thomas Petrich -- reach the "B" Division singles final Sunday as the senior fell to North Florida's Daniel Sotomarino, 6-0, 6-1. Despite the loss, Petrich won 4-of-5 singles matches this weekend.
In the "A" Division doubles flight, UAB's duo of Tyrone Ewels and Daniel Moser lost in the title match to the Florida team of Dan Cash and Johnny Hamui, 8-2.
The Blazers concluded the weekend with a 15-6 record in singles and a 5-3 mark in doubles play.
