UAB Tennis Team Back In Action Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB men's tennis team will look to continue its recent hot streak Saturday when the Blazers play host to Louisiana Lafayette. The match with the Ragin' Cajuns is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. at the Brook Highland Racquet Club.
UAB (7-6) has won its last four matches and six of its last seven. The Blazers defeated Georgia Southern, 5-2, Wednesday in their most recent dual match.
UAB has rebounded from a stretch last month when it dropped five matches in a row, all to ranked teams.
Part of the reason for the turnaround has been the Blazers' recent success in doubles. UAB has won the doubles point in each of its last six wins.
UL Lafayette comes into Saturday's match with a record of 7-4 after defeating Samford, 6-1, Friday afternoon in Birmingham.
