SAN ANTONIO, Texas - Due to unsafe field conditions, the 25th-ranked UAB softball team's matchup at UTSA has been cancelled and will not be made up.

After moving their doubleheader to Sunday, UAB and UTSA had planned to play game one at 6 p.m. CT, but persistent rainy conditions made the outfield unsafe for competition, forcing the cancellation of Saturday's game.

The UAB softball team will play game one of Sunday's doubleheader at 2 p.m. CT, with game two beginning as soon as possible after the first game's conclusion.
