"I am incredibly proud of how our Blazers competed at the Junior Gold Championships this year. I believe this was by far some of the hardest oil patterns we have seen in a while," said head coach Michelle Crews. "Our girls worked hard all week long and left their hearts on the lanes. I cannot wait to get them on campus and get to work preparing for our season and for next summer's Junior Gold Championships."
Caitlin Cunningham made it the furthest in the competition among the Blazers competing. She bowled a 181.69 average over 26 games and finished 59th overall. Taylor Russell and Sierra Lewis made it through the four days of qualifying and into the Advancers Round. Russell bowled a 181.89 average over 21 games to finish 75th overall, while Lewis bowled a 176.67 average over 21 games to finish 104th overall. Rachel Strogin bowled a 177.31 average through 16 games of qualifying and finished 145th. In total there were 792 competitors in the field.
