FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. β UAB Softball (21-21) fell in the series finale at No. 11 Arkansas (31-12) on Sunday, 6-0. The Razorbacks sweep the series, allowing only one run on the weekend.
Β
"A series like this should help us down the road." Head Coach AJ Daugherty said, "Arkansas is a top 15 team, well-coached, and very talented. This weekend we were faced with good pitching, good hitters, and a tough environment to play in. All of that should benefit us as we look to close out C-USA-play strong. I was proud to see us apply some pressure to them through five innings in game one and again today into the fourth inning."
Β
"We've got another opportunity to improve on Wednesday at Samford and we're excited to get back to conference-play next weekend."
