BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's tennis team earned its first win at home and second win of the season after downing North Alabama 6-1 at the Hoover Met Tennis Complex on Wednesday afternoon.
UAB captured the doubles point with wins on Court No. 1 and Court No. 3.
The Blazers won five of six singles courts in the match, including a three-set thriller on Court 2. Klara Kajabova dropped her first set 6-3, but fought back to take the next two sets 6-4, 6-4.
