BIRMINGHAM – No. 73 UAB men's tennis fell to No. 37 UCF on Sunday at the Hoover Met Tennis Complex, 5-2. The Knights were able to take the doubles point and secured four of six singles points to take the win.

Carlos Gimenez Perez and Juan Pablo Valdez (UAB) vs. Francisco Llanes and Santiago Giamichelle (UCF) 4-4

Carlos Gimenez Perez picked up a win in a three-set thriller on Court Two for the Blazers. He moves to 7-3 on the year in singles play. Freshman Ondrej Valek improved to 6-3 on the season with a three-set win on Court Five.
