Bowling Finishes 4th at MEAC #2

DOVER - The Blazers finish regular season conference play in 4th place after MEAC#2. UAB averaged 193.6 and went 4-3 for the weekend.
UAB started off the weekend going 3-1 the first day with two big sets of 1088 and 1069. The blazers suffered a tough loss in match 3 against Coppin State, but came back in the last match of the day to take the win against No.21 Delaware State University.
On the final day of competition, the Blazers fell to No.18 University of Maryland-Eastern Shore in the opening match of the day. Facing the number one seed North Carolina A&T in match two, the Blazers fought until the last frame but came up 40 pins short of the win. UAB went on to win the last match of the day, finishing in 4th place in overall wins and losses and second in total pinfall.
Overall MEAC Record: 8-6
UP NEXT
The UAB bowling team heads to Fort Worth, Texas, to compete at the USBC ISC/ITC Sectional. This tournament will be held on March 7-9.
