Women’s Tennis Takes Down Bellarmine 6-1

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – UAB women's tennis (10-5) defeated Bellarmine (2-14) 6-1 on Tuesday afternoon in Louisville, Kentucky.
The Blazers clinched the double point to start the match. Vanessa Mellynchuk and Mackenzie White earned a victory on Court 1. Kristyna Damaskova and Nera Tesankic were able to claim a win on Court 2.

1. Vanessa Mellynchuk and Mackenzie White (UAB) def. Yeva Kramarova and Ekaterina Tikhonko (BELL) 6-4
2. Kristyna Damaskova and Nera Tesankic (UAB) def. Vendula Kryslova and Reese Parker (BELL) 6-3
3. Marika Caruk and Shu Grosso (BELL) vs. Maria Paz Ospina and Enya Ratkic (UAB) 5-4, unfinished
UAB won five of the six singles courts to take the match. Mellynchuk earned her 10th singles win on Court 1, while Damaskova claimed her 12th win in singles on Court 2. White, Enya Ratkic and Tesankic all defeated their opponents 6-0, 6-2.
