Raleigh- A historic weekend and season for the UAB Bowling Team is in the books. The Blazers finished in 2nd place at the 2025 MEAC Bowling Championships.
The green and gold brought out the fire all weekend after a tough loss in the opening match against No.23 Delaware State University. In the following matches, the Blazers took the win 2-0 over all of their opponents, these included Norfolk State, Morgan State and Delaware State University in a redemption match.
Going into Championship Sunday, the Blazers play the defending MEAC champs, No.18 University of Maryland Eastern Shore. The Blazers came out of the gate strong, winning the first Traditional match by 94 pins (950-856).
