"Our non‑conference schedule delivers a great balance," head coach Randy Norton said. "We will face several elite mid‑majors along with a deep tournament-tested teams like TCU, who punched their ticket to the Elite Eight and were the Big 12 Champions. We have four in-state schools, and we are excited to renew our city rivalry with Samford. This schedule will challenge our team early, help build toughness, and prepare us for the grind come conference season and beyond."
The Blazers will host Shorter for an exhibition game on Oct. 30, before opening the 2025-26 campaign in Bartow Arena against West Alabama on Nov. 3. Next, UAB hosts South Alabama on Nov. 8 followed by Alabama A&M on Nov. 12.
The Green and Gold faces its first road test when the Blazers travel to Chattanooga on Nov. 16, then travel to Kentucky to take on Murray State on Nov. 22. Chattanooga made it to the second round of the WNIT last season and Murray State earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament.
A trip to Cancun will follow during Thanksgiving week against Southern Miss on Nov. 27 and reigning Big 12 Champions TCU on Nov. 28, who also made it to the Elite Eight in the NCAA Tournament.
