Colston, Oliva named to MEAC Preseason Team

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - UAB Bowling landed two spots on the MEAC Preseason Bowling All-Conference Team, announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon. Madison Colston and Madelynn Oliva represented the Blazers on the team voted by the MEAC Coaches as UAB was projected to finish fourth in the conference.
Colston bowled 1168 total frames in her sophomore season, averaging 20.14 points per frame. She totaled 569 strikes in 2024-25 with a 48.6% strike rate.
Oliva finished 2024-25 with 994 completed frames while averaging 19.16 points per frame. The Palm Coast, Florida native finished her junior season with a 43.3% strike rate.
UAB was projected to finish fourth in the MEAC, receiving two first-place votes. North Carolina A&T topped the predicted order of finish with 12 first-place votes. The Aggies also received the Preseason Player of the Year in Victorya White.
