UAB Baseball to Host Pickleball Tournament

BIRMINGHAM - UAB Baseball is set to host the Blazer Open, a pickleball tournament as a fundraiser for the program. The tournament will be held at The Picklr in Vestavia Hills on November 1-2. The Picklr is a premium indoor pickleball venue located on 1031 Montgomery Highway (Suite 1031).
The cost for admission into the tournament is $70 per player. For sponsorship information, contact Casey Dunn at cbdunn@uab.edu. To register for the event, visit pickleballtournaments.com/tournaments/blazer-open. The registration process is underway and will end on October 17 at 8 pm. The registration fee will jump to $90 on October 4. Refunds for withdrawals will only be given before the cancellation date of Friday 10/10/2025. Player registrations are not transferable. If a substitute player is needed for your partner, the substitute will need to pay the full tournament fees.
