Men's Golf Announces Two More Signees

Birmingham - The UAB men's golf team added two new signees for a total of six new players for next year. Robert Svensson and Clark Brown will join the Blazers for the 2002-2003 season.

A native of Mjolby, Sweden, Svensson is ranked no. 1 for boy's aged 18 and under. He is a member of the Sweden Mational team that won the European Boys Championship. Svensson was the medalist in the European Championship and is one of the top players in Europe.

An all-round athlete playing high school basketball, baseball and golf, Brown hails from Navarre, Florida. In th eFlorida High School Championship, he finished seventh amongst the State's best golfers.
