BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB baseball team will play at cross-town rival Samford Tuesday at 6 p.m. at Griffin Field.

UAB (24-25, 9-17 Conference USA) is coming off a 12-9 loss to East Carolina last Sunday at Harrington Field in Conference USA action. The Blazers won Saturday's rain-suspended contest 12-8 Sunday and lost the Friday game 11-8.

Samford (16-34, 7-23 Atlantic Sun) is coming off a 10-7 loss in game two of a doubleheader at Georgia State last Saturday in Atlantic Sun play. The Panthers swept the three-game series from the Bulldogs.
