BIRMINGHAM – UAB Head Baseball Coach Casey Dunn has announced the 4-game fall schedule, which features games against teams from the SEC, Conference USA, and UAC.
The Blazers will open up with two games in three days against teams from the state of Georgia. UAB welcomes West Georgia and Kennesaw State to Young Memorial Field on October 16 and October 18, respectively. UAB and UWG were scheduled to play their first ever meeting in the final midweek contest of the 2025 season, but the game was canceled due to rain. KSU last came to YMF to start the 2024 season.
The Green and Gold round out the fall schedule with games against SEC foes. On October 23, UAB heads to Tuscaloosa to take on Alabama. The Blazers and Tide split the season series in 2026, with UAB taking the contest in Tuscaloosa by a score of 11-2. Alabama was perfect through the regional and super regional rounds before falling twice at the College World Series in Omaha.
The final fall game of the year comes in Auburn when the Blazers and Tigers square off on November 6. Auburn took both games of the season series in 2026 after UAB took both games in 2025. After winning the Auburn Regional this past season, the Tigers were swept in the Auburn Super Regional by Ole Miss.
The full schedule for the 2027 season will be announced at a later date.
