Blazers Finish 11th At Lady Jaguar Invitational

MOBILE, Ala. - The UAB women's golf team concluded its competition at the Lady Jaguar Invitational Tuesday by placing 11th out of 18 teams with a two-round score of 638. Freshman Jaime Brabb led the Blazers by carding a 151 to tie for fourth in the individual standings.
East Tennessee State shot rounds of 301 and 299 to win the tournament title with a score of 600. Southern Miss finished second with a 617 and McNeese State took third by shooting a 627.
Brabb tied for fourth overall for her best collegiate finish with rounds of 74 and 77 to card a two-round total of 151.
Junior Christina Wentworth tied for 31st place with a score of 158, while sophomore Carolyn Cochran tied for the 47th spot with a 162.
Freshman Lindsay Taylor tied for 75th by tallying a 168 and junior Alyson Mitchell shot a 171 over two rounds to tie for 86th place.
