Sinclair Leads UAB at Lady Red Wolves Classic with Strong Final Round

JONESBORO, Ark. – Grace Sinclair carded a final-round 68 (-4) to lead the UAB women's golf team during the final round of the Lady Red Wolves Classic on Tuesday at Sage Meadows Country Club.
Sinclair's four-under-par performance marked the Blazers' lowest round of the tournament. She finished tied for 31st individually with a three-round total of 220 (+4), improving by nine strokes from her second-round score of 77.
UAB finished 13th in the team standings with a combined score of 900 (+36). The Blazers posted rounds of 304, 301 and 295, improving their team score each day of the 54-hole tournament.
Chloe Ruble and Anna Kunkel tied for 54th, each finishing at 227 (+11). Ruble carded a final-round 73 (+1), while Kunkel finished with a 77 (+5). Mallory Brooks placed 58th at 228 (+12), and Annika Gomeyac rounded out UAB's lineup at 235 (+19).
Competing as an individual, Gabby Hultstrand finished tied for 48th with a total of 224 (+8), closing the tournament with back-to-back rounds of 74 (+2).
The Blazers return to action next Monday, Oct. 19, in Evansville, Ind., at the Braun Intercollegiate, a two-day event.
