Jaime Brabb Leads UAB On Day One Of Waterlefe Invitational

BRADENTON, Fla. - Junior Jaime Brabb is tied for 16th place with a 36-hole score of 151 to lead the UAB women's golf team on day one of the Waterlefe Invitational on Monday. The Blazers are in 16th place in the team standings after recording a 658 through two rounds at the Waterlefe Golf Club.
Nova Southeastern is pacing the team compeition, carding rounds of 299 and 290 for a total of 589. Campbell is in second place at 592, while host-school South Florida sits in third after recording a 36-hole score of 595.
Brabb shot rounds of 79 and 72, respectively, on her way to a 151 after two rounds of play. Brabb is tied for 16th place in the individual standings.
Redshirt junior Carolyn Cochran carded rounds of 79 and 83 to finish the day tied for 61st place at 162. Junior Lindsay Taylor is tied for 74th with a total of 171.
Junior Emi Boozer is tied for the 82nd spot at 178, while freshman Ana Martin rounds out UAB's efforts in 87th place with a score of 181.
Nova Southeastern's Taylor Collins is leading the individual standings, recording rounds of 70 and 69 for a three-under par 139.
The third and final round of competition will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday with a shotgun start.
