Free Admission To Sunday Volleyball With Donated Items

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB volleyball team is partnering with Birmingham's Ronald McDonald House at Sunday's match to collect paper and plastic products for use by resident families at the facility. Fans who donate items will receive free admission to the 1 p.m. contest with Southern Miss.
In addition, UAB will be hosting its second annual Fall Festival on Sunday with fun, kid-friendly activities for families, candy for children and a costume contest during the match.
Below is a list of the needed items for Ronald McDonald House. Fans who bring one or more of the items (new, unopened and in the original packaging) will be admitted free on Sunday.
Paper Products
Plates, Bowls, Toilet Paper, Cups, Paper Towels, Napkins, Kleenex
Plastic Utensils
Straws, Coffee Stirrers, Forks, Knives, Spoons
These are items the facility currently needs the most and what they have a use for throughout the year.

Sunday's match with Southern Miss is the second home contest this weekend for UAB, which also hosts Tulane on Friday at 7 p.m.
