UAB in Fifth After Two Rounds at Samford Intercollegiate

ONEONTA, Ala. -- The UAB women's golf team stands in fifth place after two rounds at the Samford Invitational at the Limestone Springs Golf Club in Oneonta, Ala. UAB junior Carolyn Cochran is currently tied for ninth after carding rounds of 74 and 76 to open the tournament.
South Alabama is leading the tournament with a 36-hole score of 600, while UAB has a score of 621 after two rounds.
Cochran's score of 150 is 11 strokes behind South Alabama's Fanny Eineren, who is leading the field with a score of 139. UAB junior Jaime Brabb two-round total is 151, placing her in 12th after the first day.
The tournament wraps up on Tuesday with the final round of action. Play resumes at 9 a.m. CDT with a shotgun start.
