UAB Stands 14th After Two Rounds at UC Spring Invitational

UC Spring Invitational First and Second Round Results
CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. -- The UAB women's golf team is currently in 14th place after the first two rounds of competition at the University of Cincinnati Spring Invitational on Friday at the Plantation Inn Golf Resort and Spa. The Blazers wrap up the tournament on Saturday beginning at 8 a.m. CDT.
The Blazers shot rounds of 323 and 324 for a 36-hole total of 647. Junior Carolyn Cochran carded a 75 and 78 in the first two rounds to lead the Blazers with a total of 153 after 36 holes. Cochran is currently tied for 12th overall.
Illinois leads the tournament with a score of 592, while Stetson's Alex Buelow is tops on the individual leader board with a two-round total of 141.
For UAB, junior Jaime Brabb posted rounds of 81 and 77 to tie for 42nd after 36 holes, junior Lindsay Taylor carded an 83 and 81 to tie for 65th and freshman Ana Martin is in 90th with rounds of 84 and 88. Sophomore Kristin Lottman rounded out UAB's scoring with rounds of 85 and 91.
