Yeh Signs With UAB For 2011-12 Season

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- Margaret Yeh has signed a National Letter of Intent to join the UAB women's golf team next season, head coach Kim Wilcox announced.
"We are excited about the addition of Margaret for next season," Wilcox said. "She has proven herself both on the golf course and in the classroom."
Yeh, a standout at West Forsyth High School in Cumming, Ga., won the 2010 Georgia PGA Junior Championship in June 2010 with a 36-hole total of 165. Yeh also finished first at the North Georgia Junior Open in September, recording rounds of 78 and 75 to finish with a score of 153. She finished in the top five in five events last year.
Not only has Yeh excelled on the links, but also in the classroom. Yeh attended Girls State at Georgia Southern University last June and was selected as one of two senators out of 375 girls to represent the state of Georgia at Girls Nation.
