Blazers Open Competition At Baylor Spring Invitational

WACO, Texas -- The UAB women's golf team opened action at the Baylor Spring Invitational on Monday at the Two Rivers Golf Club. The Blazers finished the day in 18th place.
UAB recorded a team total of 681 after 36 holes on Monday. Texas Tech currently sits atop the leaderboard with a 604. UT San Antonio is second with a score of 615, while Missouri State rounds out the top three at 616.
Carolyn Cochran, Ana Martin and Jaime Brabb each recorded a 170 through the first two rounds to lead the Blazers. Jaime Ritter is one stroke behind the trio with a 171. Baylor's Chelease Cothran leads the tournament with a 147.
The tournament will conclude with the final round on Tuesday.
