Women's Golf To Compete In The Samford Intercollegiate

ONEONTA, Ala. -- The UAB women's golf team will continue its 2011-12 spring season in Oneonta, Ala., at the Samford Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday.
The tourney will be played at the par-72, 6,457-yard Limestone Springs Golf Club and will consist of 54 holes, with 36 being played on Monday and the remaining 18 occurring on Tuesday.
UAB will be one of 10 teams that will compete during the tournament. Other participants include Florida Southern, Jacksonville State, Louisiana-Monroe, Middle Tennessee, Samford, Newberry, Troy, South Alabama, and Tennessee Tech.
Juniors Jaime Ritter and Ana Martin, sophomore Caitlin Watts, and freshmen Holly Robinson and Margaret Yeh will compete for UAB.
