UAB Men's Soccer Ranked No. 22 In Nation

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB men's soccer team moved back into the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division I Top 25, checking in at No. 22, as released on Tuesday.
The Blazers have been ranked or have received votes in the coaches' poll every week since the first week of the regular season in 2013.
UAB defeated No. 15 New Mexico, 3-2, last Wednesday night at West Campus Field, and dropped the home finale to Old Dominion, 3-2. The Monarchs are No. 38 in this week's NCAA RPI, while the Lobos are No. 35.
UAB moved up seven spots in the RPI to No. 20, and also moved up to No. 20 in this week's Bennett Rankings.
According to the NCAA, UAB has the eighth-toughest strength of schedule in Division I and the 16th in nonconference action.
The Blazers close the regular season on Saturday at Florida Atlantic, before beginning postseason play with the C-USA Championship, set for Nov. 12-16 in Norfolk, Va.
