Women's Golf Finishes Eighth At Lady Eagle Invitational

HATTIESBURG, Miss. ---- The UAB women’s golf team moved up two spots, into eighth place to conclude the Lady Eagle Invitational on Tuesday.
The Blazers were in 10th place entering Tuesday’s final round, but a strong performance from Holly Robinson helped the Blazers improve their team total for the eighth-place finish.
Host school Southern Miss wrapped up its first-place spot with a strong performance on Tuesday, while Memphis finished second in the team totals.
Robinson fired a five-over par, 77 on the final 18 holes to finish in a tie for 16th place and atop the UAB individual leaderboard.
Caitlin Watts finished in a tie for 40th with her 11-over par performance on the second day. Meanwhile, Jesse Lawley finished in 42nd place, while Margeret Yeh finished in a tie for 52nd and Rebecca Chandler tied for 56th place.
