Blazers Move Up One Spot At UC Spring Invite

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. ---- The UAB women’s golf team moved up one spot from 13th to 12th place following the second round of action on Saturday at the University of Cincinnati Spring Invitational.
The Blazers improved by 12 strokes and fired a team total 315 on Saturday. Overall, UAB has shot a 66-over par, 642 entering Sunday’s final round.
Lynn College remains in first place with a 22-over par team total, while Jacksonville University is currently three strokes behind in second place.
UAB’s Catilin Watts, who was in 44th place entering Saturday’s action, moved all the way up to a tie for 31st place after her outstanding three-over par, 75 second round total.
Meanwhile, Blazer Amanda Richey shot a four-over par, 76 on Saturday to move into a tie for 49th place.
