Women's Golf Finishes 12th At UC Spring Invite

CRYSTAL RIVER, Fla. ---- The UAB women’s golf team fired a team-total 314 in the final round to finish in 12th place at the three-round University of Cincinnati Spring Invite on Sunday.
Senior Caitlin Watts had an impressive day once again, shooting a six-over par 78 to finish in a tie for 31st place. Meanwhile, teammate Amanda Richey finished in a tie for 53rd place following a seven-over par 79 on Sunday.
The Blazers finished above two other teams in the event. Jacksonville University took home the team title with a three-round, 23-over par 887.
