Robinson Tied for Second; Blazers 11th in Arkansas

MAUMELLE, Ark. -- Holly Robinson fired a 2-over, 74, in each of the two opening rounds at the UALR/ASU Women's Golf Classic to pace the UAB women's golf team at the Maumelle Country Club.
Robinson tied for the third-lowest round on the day, turning in 2-over performances in each of the two rounds Monday, to place herself tied for second entering Tuesday's final 18 holes.
Freshman Juliana Sebastian carded UAB's second-best score after turning in scores of 79 and 81, while freshman Sydney Snodgrass finished two strokes behind with an 82 and 80 in her two rounds.
Senior Margaret Yeh carded two scores of 83 in her two rounds to cap UAB's field of four counted scores.
As a team the Blazers sit 11th of 15 teams after two rounds. Central Arkansas' 22-over, 598 overall score over 36 holes paced the field. UAB recorded a 316 in the opening round and fired a 318 in the final 18 holes of the day.
The Blazers will begin Tuesday's final round with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. Robinson will get the Blazers' play started on the 11th.
