UAB Women's Golf Opens 2015 at Memphis Intercollegiate

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - UAB's women's golf team is set to open its 2015 fall slate Monday and Tuesday at the Memphis Women's Intercollegiate in Memphis, Tenn.
Action from the Ridgeway Country Club gets underway at 8:30 a.m. with a shotgun start. Teams will play 36 holes Monday, before closing the tournament Tuesday with the final 18.
The 15-team tournament field includes Arkansas State, Xavier, ULM, UAB, South Alabama, Samford, Sam Houston State, Ole Miss, Oklahoma City University, North Texas, Memphis, McNeese State, IUPUI, Cincinnati and Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
UAB's lineup includes sophomores Sydney Snodgrass, Kayla Wilbourn, and Juliana Sebastian, junior Rebecca Chandler, and newcomer Imy Huxley.

The 2015 opener for the Blazers will be the first of four events this fall in preparation for the spring slate.
UAB finished tied for ninth at the 2015 Conference USA Championship, and recorded a high finish of sixth at the Bearcat Classic last October.
