BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- UAB volleyball continue its lengthy home stand by hosting the ULM Warhawks Monday morning in Bartow Arena. Match time is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. CT.

Tournament Promotions
Monday's match has been designated as Faculty and Staff Appreciation Match. UAB faculty and staff members will receive free admission to tomorrow's action and may enjoy $1 hotdogs throughout the match.
Monday's match is also Education Day. The UAB volleyball team will host several local schools as students will participate in educational activities during the match.

Series History
UAB and the Warhawks have met on the court three times in school history with the Blazers leading the series, 2-1.
Scouting the Opponent
The Warhawks enter Monday's contest with an 8-5 overall record and a 1-0 record in Sun Belt play. ULM has had strong performances at the Bulldog Invitational, hosted by Mississippi State, Gamecock Invitational, hosted by JSU, and the Louisiana Tech Tournament, hosted by the Lady Techsters.
The Blazers and Warhawks have faced two common opponents, Jacksonville State and Lamar. ULM topped the Gamecocks, 3-0, while defeating Lamar in five sets, 3-2.
ULM enters Monday's match after defeating Georgia Southern on Saturday to win its Sun Belt opener for the first time since joining the SBC in 2006.
Hope Pawlik and Taylor Zaeske lead the Warhawk offense with 118 and 116 kills, respectively. Pawlik adds 106 digs and 16 blocks to the ULM defense while tallying 14 aces as a server.
Zaeske adds 11 service aces and tops the ULM defense with 134 total digs while garnering 15 blocks. Kaitlyn Shearer leads the Warhawks in total blocks with 37 on the season.
Ri'chard and Treace Named to All-Tournament Team
After a second place finish at the Fight Like Hal Memorial Tournament, freshman Zahria Ri'chard and junior Amber Treace represented the Blazers on the All-Tournament team.
Ri'chard recorded 31 kills over the tournament and tallied a .463 attack percentage for the UAB offense. Defensively, the freshman recorded 14 total blocks over the weekend.
Treace set up the UAB offense with 128 assists in the tournament to average 9.85 per set. Treace added eight kills and seven service aces to the UAB offense. The setter totaled six blocks over four matches.
