Women's Golf Receives NCAA Academic Honors

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.- The NCAA released its list of 2014-15 NCAA Public Recognition Award winners with the UAB Women's Golf Team making the cut.
"I am proud of my team and their hard work in the classroom," head coach Kim Wilcox said. They are very deserving of this honor."
This award is given annually to teams with an NCAA Division I Academic Progress Rate in the top-10 percent of all squads in their respective sport for the academic year. This is the first time women's golf has received the award and it becomes the 11th UAB team to ever receive the honor.
Members of the team during this season were Rebecca Chandler, Jesse Lawley, Holly Robinson, Jessica Rouillard, Juliana Sebastian, Sydney Snodgrass, Kayla Wilbourn and Margaret Yeh.
