UAB Drops a Pair of Matches at Mercer

MACON, Ga. – The UAB beach volleyball team lost a pair of matches at Mercer by duplicate scores of 3-2 on Saturday.
Kenley Adams and Emily Martinez teamed up and won both of their matches, the first on court three and the second on court four. The duo improved their record to 3-3 playing together.
Haley Jared and Morgan Smith registered the Blazers’ other win in the opening match on court five, while Avery Hoven and Katarina Jovicic tallied UAB’s second victory on court two in the second match.
The Blazers (4-11, 0-4 CCSA) return to action next weekend at Georgia State when UAB takes on Lincoln Memorial, Austin Peay, No. 8 LSU and No. 9 Georgia State.
