JONESBORO, Ark. – The No. 14 UAB bowling team inched its way two spots up the leaderboard on the second day of the Mid-Winter Classic.

Tulane edged UAB 1,053-1,046 in game three while Drury defeated the Blazers 994-903 in the fourth game of the day. Game five was a 1,002-973 win over LA Tech to end the day on a high note.
Taylor Russell continued her stellar season and sits in the third place individually in the event. The Mississippi native bowled four 200+ games for a 230.20 average.
Samantha Johnson also edged the 200+ mark with a 200.40 average over five games.
