UAB Hosts Alabama State In Final Home Mid-Week Matchup

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Coming off its sweep of WKU and its fourth-straight Conference USA series win, the UAB softball team hosts Alabama State at Mary Bowers Field on Thursday, April 19 at 6 p.m. CT.

It will be the Blazers final mid-week home game this season and it comes right before UAB travels to Louisiana Tech for a 1 vs. 2 show down in conference play.

UAB and Alabama State haven't met since 2013 when the Hornets won for the first time in series history, 3-2. The Blazers won the previous six matchups.
