Blazers Set For Loyola Lakefront Invitational

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB cross country team heads to the Midwest as it gets set to run in the Loyola Lakefront Classic in Chicago on Saturday. The women's 5,000-meter race is slated to begin at 10 a.m.
UAB last ran at the Commodore Classic on Sept. 15 where it finished 16th in the competitive 19-team field.
Through two events this season, two different Blazers have led UAB as Bethan Evans placed 28th in Memphis with a time of 19:06.25, while Karlee Stortz finished 85th at the Commodore Classic, crossing the finish line in 19:16.4
