UAB Heads to Boca Raton to Take Part in Florida Atlantic Tournament

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB men's tennis team travels to Boca Raton, Fla. to take part in a four-team tournament hosted by Florida Atlantic.
The event features UAB, Brown, Boston University, UConn, UNC-Asheville and host squad Florida Atlantic and will span from Thursday through Saturday.
UAB (7-5, 1-0 C-USA) will play Boston University on Thursday at noon, UConn on Friday at noon and Florida Atlantic on Saturday at 9 a.m.
The Blazers have won three straight matches dating back to March 2, defeating Alabama A&M, Alabama State and Tennessee Tech.
UAB features the No. 47-ranked doubles team in the country in Roman Postolka and Michal Lusovsky. The pair improved its season record to 6-0 with a victory over Tennessee Tech's Carlos Vicente and Gonzalo Garcia on Saturday.
Lusovsky leads the Green and Gold with six singles victory on the campaign, boasting a 6-1 mark. Lusovsky is followed by Giovani Pasini and Daniel Janko, who have each recorded five wins.
Following this weekend, UAB returns to the courts to take on Middle Tennessee in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on March 30 at 11 a.m.
