UAB Continues Winning Streak With 4-3 Victory Over Tennessee Tech

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB men's tennis team won its third consecutive match with a 4-3 win over Tennessee Tech Saturday at the UAB Tennis Courts.
UAB (7-5, 1-0 C-USA) claimed the doubles point as No. 47 Roman Postolka and Michal Lusovsky defeated Carlos Vicente and Gonzalo Garcia, 6-1, before Giovani Pasini and Nikolai Manchev clinched the point, claiming victory over Fanis Kontopoulos and Lucca Silva, 6-4.
Lusovsky opened singles play with a 6-3, 6-1 triumph over Kontopoulos on court four. Postolka put the Blazers up 3-0, defeating Rafael Tosetto 6-2, 6-4 on court one. Pasini clinched the match for the Green and Gold, claiming a win over Silva on court five, 6-0, 6-1.
UAB returns to the courts to take on North Alabama in a rescheduled match on Monday at the UAB Tennis Courts.
