Women’s Golf Places 13th at Memphis Intercollegiate

MEMPHIS – The UAB women's golf team placed 13th at the Memphis Intercollegiate played at Ridgeway Country Club.
Both Tia Teiniketo and Maria Donado tied for 37th as Teiniketo moved up nine spots in the final round by shooting a four over 75. Both Teiniketo and Donado shot +16 overall for the tournament.
Kenna Hughes was one shot behind at +17 and finished tied for 44th overall, while Stephenie Fowler rounded out UAB's efforts by tying for 70th at +29.
Penn State won the tournament by shooting +2 and was followed by Middle Tennessee (+7), Memphis (+14), Troy (+37) and Toledo (+45). Individually, Michaela Fletcher of Memphis won the tournament by shooting -8.
The Blazers now head to the Conference USA Championship which is set for April 15-17 in Fort Myers, Fla.
