UAB Heads to Huntsville for North Alabama Showcase

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB cross country team is set to travel to Huntsville for the North Alabama Showcase, hosted by the University of North Alabama at John Hunt Cross Country Running Park. The women's 5k race is scheduled to take place at 8:15 a.m.
This will be the first time that the Blazers will participate at this event.
The showcase will include a 23-school field including Alabama, Georgia, Jacksonville State, Mississippi State, North Alabama, Ole Miss, Samford and South Alabama.
Regionally, nine of the top 15 South Region women's teams will be participating. Along with Alabama and Ole Miss being ranked nationally in the top 15.
