BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's soccer team concluded the 2022 regular season with a 0-0 draw against Rice on Saturday afternoon.

The Blazer backline held Rice to only three shots, with none on target, giving keeper Eve Beyer her league-tying eighth clean sheet.

The biggest scoring chance came in the 73^rd minute when Rice's Serence Chan's penalty kick hit woodwork, preserving the scoreless draw.

UAB outshot the Owls 8-3, with Carlyn Presley, Stella Kiss and Morgan White each recording a shot on goal.

Up next for the Blazers (9-3-5, 6-1-3) is the 2022 Conference USA Championship beginning Wed. Nov. 2. UAB's seed will be determined after the conclusion of the North Texas/LA Tech match which begins at 7 p.m. Check our social media channels for the official pairings later tonight.
