Cross Country Gears Up For NCAA South Regional

BIRMINGHAM – UAB Cross Country returns to action for the NCAA South Regional on Nov 11, 2022. The women will start off competition for the 6K at 8:30 a.m., followed by the men's 10K at 9:30 a.m.
The Blazers, who placed fifth in the C-USA Championships, will have eight runners participating Friday morning. Lauren Charlton and Kyra Hayes, who finished the race as the top two finishers in the Green and Gold, lead the pack with finishing times of 21:59.00 and 22:18.6.
Joining Charlton and Hayes is Kathleen Schellman, Sangie Lincoln-Velez, Lauren Robinson, Gracie Sears, Anna Behmer, and Ava Brooks.
