BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's soccer team plays the second of its three-match homestand at PNC Field on Thursday night when it hosts UTSA. Match time is 7 p.m.
UAB LATELY
UAB (4-4-4, 0-1-3 AAC) has its first setback in AAC play on Oct. 5, falling to USF 1-0. The Blazers are in fifth place in the East Division with three points. UAB is 2-3-1 at home this season.
USTA LATELY
UTSA (5-6-2, 0-3-1 AAC) is on a four-match losing/five-match winless streak and is looking for its first win since Sept. 10. They are in fifth place in the West Division with one point. The Roadrunners are 1-4-1 on the road this season.

UAB leads the all-time series 3-2-2 which includes a 2-1-2 record in Birmingham.
LAST TIME AGAINST USTA
Anna Sutton found the back of the net in the 108th minute to give UTSA a 1-0 double overtime victory over UAB on Nov. 2, 2022 in the quarterfinal round of the Conference USA Championship.
