BIRMINGHAM – The UAB women's tennis team looks to get back on the winning track on Saturday when it visits WKU. First serve is scheduled for 1 p.m.

The Blazers (7-9, 0-2 C-USA) have dropped their last five matches and have a 4-6 record on the road this season.
WKU LATELY
The Lady Tops (14-8, 1-2 C-USA) has its four match winning streak snapped on March 31 by Middle Tennessee 4-3. WKU is 6-3 at home this season
UAB AND WKU HISTORY
The two teams began play in 1984 and have met a total of 10 times. The Blazers have dominated the series, winning nine of the matches, including two victories over the Lady Toppers last season.
LAST TIME AGAINST WKU
Annalisa Smith's 6-1, 6-2 victory at No. 6 singles clinched UAB's 4-2 over victory WKU in the First Round of the 2022 Conference USA Championship. The Blazers jumped out to a 1-0 lead after winning the doubles point. Mackenzie White and Adela Wasserbauerova were 6-2 winners on Court 2, followed by Sydney Clarke and Maggie White taking the breaker 7-6 (7-2) on Court 1. UAB went ahead 2-0 after Wasserbauerova was a straight set winner on Court 1, 6-3, 6-0. WKU tied the match at 2-2 after taking Courts 4 and 2. Maggie White's 2-6, 6-4, 7-5 win on Court 3 put the Blazers ahead and Smith's victory secured the match.

UAB and LA Tech have six common opponents: Alabama A&M, Belmont, Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee, North Alabama and UTEP.
