Cross Country Finishes Third Overall at Foothills Invite

OXFORD – UAB Cross Country finished out the evening of the Foothills Invitational with a third-place team finish and a top-ten finish to add on the evening. Freshman Katie Keur led the pack for the Green and Gold with the highest placement across the finish line with a time of 14:35.80.
Outside of the Oxford native, sophomore Kyra Hayes finished 17th for the Blazers with a time of 14.55.50. Lia Castillo out of Colorado finished 21st overall, with Kathleen Schellman not far behind with a 23rd-place finish. Anna Behmer and Ava Brooks finished out the top 30 for the Blazers.
All Blazers would finish top-100 in their first race of the year, besting their prior year's finish of fourth.
