UAB Track & Field Signs Six Athletes on Signing Day

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB Cross Country and Track & Field programs have announced the signings of six athletes. Athletes from Alabama, Georgia, New York, Tennessee, and Florida are slated to arrive in Birmingham for the 2025-26 season.
Fiona Eastman - Chattanooga, TN - Chattanooga School for the Arts & Sciences (Pole Vault)
Valeria Escalera - Auburn, AL - Auburn HS (XC/Distance)
Kylie Gero - Madison, AL. - James Clemens HS (XC/Distance)
Sarah Hopkins - Bonita Springs, FL - Bonita Springs HS (Throws)
Kelly Hughes - Mount Sinai, NY - Mount Sinai HS (XC/Distance)
Savannah Meyer - Cumming, GA - West Forsyth HS (XC/Distance)
UAB Track & Field opens its season on December 6 as it competes in the IceBreaker at the Birmingham Crossplex. Times for the meet are TBA.
